A welcoming community in southwest Longmont with scenic paths and mountain views
I've shown properties here for years, and the thing that stands out is how well the neighborhood has held together. The HOA keeps common areas sharp, the lots are generous — quarter-acre to three-quarter-acre is typical — and the homes range from solid ranch-style builds from the late '80s to newer custom construction.
What makes Somerset Meadows work for families is the schools. Blue Mountain Elementary, Altona Middle, and Silver Creek High are all St. Vrain Valley — one of the strongest districts on the Front Range. And the commute situation is genuinely good: you're about a mile from the Diagonal, which puts you in Boulder in 15 minutes or downtown Longmont in 10.
