Mapleton Hill is one of Boulder's most storied addresses, a few blocks of older homes, many beautifully renovated, on wide streets under a canopy of mature trees. Pearl Street and downtown are an easy walk, and the neighborhood is the kind of place you go for the walk: quiet, green, and removed-feeling despite being right in town. The Boulder Creek Path is close by. Worth knowing: historic-district oversight means renovations take more time and care than newer homes.
